Getting From Reagan Airport to Marriott Wardman Park Hotel
Lucky you! Getting to the Marriott or Omni from Ronald Reagan Washington National
Airport (called both "Reagan" and "Washington National," airport code DCA) is easy.
There's a Metro rail station right inside the airport. Read details on how to use the Metro
train system
. Use this official online trip planner for detailed schedule and fare information.
You can also take a taxi or shuttle from the airport to your hotel, though it will cost more.

Every piece of information was accessed between 06/30 and 07/08/2009, and while I tried
my best, I am not a professional travel agent and can make no guarantees or warranties for
the accuracy of this information. As always, travel at your own risk!

OPTION 1: RIDE METRO TO HOTEL

Very inexpensive, less than $2 one-way. First, you have to find the Metrorail station within
Reagan Airport. This is taken from the Reagan airport website:

"The Washington, DC Metrorail system has an elevated Metrorail station connected to the
concourse level of terminals B and C at Reagan National Airport. Metrorail fare cards may
be purchased at machines locates at all entrances to the Airport Metrorail station. The
station is also fully accessible via elevators.

Terminal B and C: Use either of two enclosed pedestrian bridges on the concourse level
which connect directly to the station.

Terminal A: Exit the terminal to the streetside curb, and board any "Airport Shuttle" bus. At
the stops for Parking Garages B and C (bus shelter #3 and bus shelter #5) you may access
an enclosed bridge which connects to the Metrorail station."

Once you've found the Metrorail station, board a Blue or Yellow Line train. Both get you
where you need to go, though it looks like Yellow is a shorter journey.

· If you take a Blue train, board one headed toward Largo Town Center. Disembark at Metro
station and board a Red Line train toward Shady Grove. Disembark at Woodley
Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan, and proceed as I describe on the main scouting page.

· If you take a Yellow train, board one headed toward Fort Totten. Disembark at Gallery
Place-Chinatown and board a Red Line train toward Shady Grove. Disembark at Woodley
Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan, and proceed as I describe on the main scouting page.

OPTION 2: TAKE A TAXI OR SHUTTLE TO YOUR HOTEL

· More expensive (~$20 one-way):
Take a taxi from Reagan to your hotel. From the
Reagan airport website: "Taxicab stands are conveniently located near the Arrivals (baggage
claim) exits of each terminal. Dispatchers at each stand will help you select a taxicab
based on your destination in Washington DC, Virginia, or Maryland. No advance
reservations are required—service is on a first-come, first-served basis." See this page for a
fare map and other information.

· Less expensive ($14.00 first person, $5.00 each additional): Take a SuperShuttle from
Reagan to your hotel. From the Reagan airport website: "Unscheduled, door-to-door,
shared-ride service departs from each terminal exclusively via Super Shuttle. Upon arrival to
the airport between 6 a.m. and 12 a.m. (midnight), proceed to the outside curb and look for
the Super Shuttle Guest Coordinator. After hours, call 1-800-258-3826 and press 1 for
dispatch or 2 for reservations."

Call 1-800-BLUEVAN or go to www.supershuttle.com for more information or to arrange your
return trip.
